Threat of Chopping Social Security and Medicare

I am sorry life has come to taking funds from the retirement system of our country. I worked 29 years and paid in all those years for my share of a right to retire and draw social security in my older years. I still have not gotten my medicare as of yet, but I am due to be able to apply in a few months. Now I am hearing cut medicare and cut social security. I am sorry that society thinks it is ok to take funds that was provided for people to retire and use them for other things. That money was set aside for my rights to retire and have money to survive and live out my days. I have done without medical coverage for several years now waiting for my chance to have medical help. Then I am hearing by legislatures that we need to cut the budget so cut out those things that causes us to be in the red and not be able to balance the budget. I think excuse me.....................................Who took our money and appropriated it somewhere else.......................................................? I am furious to know that our elderly and disabled people have to look at the sun shining and over their heads is the street, death around the door, suffering, starvation, and dying of heat stroke and not to mention freezing in the cold. What is our world coming to? Of course I have heard of how some in the world wish to cut back the population, but I tell you life should not be like this.

I am putting this one back on congress to confess up the real fact we are in trouble is the bail outs and the putting money in countries to fight wars that we never should be in. If we get in them , then have some realism about doing what we set out to do and get the heck out. Make a war that you have to pay out a billion a week, and think Medicare and Social Security is the culprit. Let us get real people. I lived so many years that I know the truth. You are not fooling those of us who know what you do with our money. Then you go off to some foreign country and you borrow money in the billions, and then you got the nerve to say cut Medicare and Social Security benefits.

Since the rich folks have jets, mansions,and lots of food on their table and attend Ivy League Colleges, then I ask you are you taking me in and taking care of me, when I am homeless and without food. No you would look at me like a curse on society that you brought about, and yeah it disgusts me. How can you live with your conscious? Did you feed the poor, or give home to the homeless?

Did you look at why we have expenses in Medicare? Look at the care we get in hospitals across the nation, and how if you complain about one thing, then they call the police to escort you right out of the hospital and all you do is say, may I speak to a doctor? Then that person ends up back out on the street and never gets the care they need. Yeah I know there are some who make abuse the system, and we all pay for it. Why is it that insurance companies can walk in and tell the hospital or doctors that we are only going to pay x amount of dollars on this bill, because it is reasonable and customary? Why is it that their is any difference? Seems to me that people are being charged far more than they should in these cases. Then there is the good old co payment and gaps in medicine. One day you have to give them $150. each time you visit a hospital or $50. if you go to a doctor. I am thinking suppose you have no money. This is all beyond me. If you think you can walk in and blame the elderly for all this , then you better think again. I can see even how you could make hospitals more efficient and less costly and not charge people for co pays they do not have. Where is our medical care,and better yet am I getting fired from Social Security like employers fire their employees to cut corners.
